Spinal Manipulative Therapy

Spinal manipulation therapy is the passive movement of a joint or spinal segment through the normal range of motion (and sometimes beyond) in order to improve mobility and reduce pain.  This type of therapy ranges from general joint oscillations to high velocity thrust manipulations.  This is a suitable treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses in which diminished joint mobility causes pain and loss of function.
