Avoid any excessive activity |

Use ice for 10-15 minutes every hour for swelling and pain control | |||||

Take pain medication as prescribed | |||||

Your surgery follow up visit is generally schedules on your second post operative day | |||||

Should you have excessive bleeding or drainage return to our office, if after hours contact the on call physician | |||||

Numbness/tingling, increasing pain, swelling, color change (pallor or dusky appearance) of extremity fingers/toes; first try changing positions, loosen any constrictive bandages or dressings. If no relief of symptoms within 10 minutes, contact the on call physician | |||||
