Our Office is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This includes care of neck and back disorders, deformities, fractures, sprains, muscle and nerve injuries. It includes sports medicine, arthritis care, and pain management. The men and women who care for you are part of our family of specialists. Many have worked together as a team for 25 years. The musculoskeletal team includes the orthopaedic surgeon, specialty trained physical therapists, the orthopaedic physicians assistant, an orthopaedic nurse, certified x-ray technologists, a neurological physician and an athletic trainer.

COMPANY PROFILE

Wardell Orthopaedics is a full service musculoskeletal center.  It includes examination rooms, rooms for cast and splint application and an area for minor procedures.  There is an x-ray suite, a physical therapy department, reception, business and secretarial offices.

WHEN YOU COME IN

Patients are seen by appointment, except under urgent circumstances.  You can make an appointment to see the orthopaedic surgeon, the neurological physician (neurologist), the physician's assistant or the physical therapists.  You may also have an appointment for such services as x-rays or cast and brace application.  You may be asked to fill out an information sheet to update us regarding your condition or your medical insurance.  We will be happy to assist you with this paperwork.

THE X-RAY DEPARTMENT

Wardell Orthopaedics uses the Prodigy X-ray System.  Designed by GE in 2003, this unit is now used by many hospitals across the country.  It offers safety and quality unmatched by the usual office based x-ray units.  X-rays are taken only by certified x-ray technologists and interpreted by our physician.  Women are requested to notify us if they may be pregnant.
